Parent/Child Groups

 Families generally attend a 2 hour session per week, with additional support offered in the home, kindergarten or child care by relevant staff.  Staffing of groups are determined by the needs of each group and may involve Teachers, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapist & Assistants.

Within the parent/child group children have the opportunity to experience a wide range of activities through play encouraging the development of communication and language, social/emotional and fine/gross motor skills.  The group provides parents with the opportunity to discuss the progress of each child with staff and also promotes parent-to-parent support.
